Our Extraordinary Stay at The Magnolia Hotel
The Magnolia Hotel offers each guest of their seventy-four rooms, three suites, and seven cottages an experience of a lifetime. As soon as we arrived, we fell in love with the location of the Magnolia Hotel. It is only steps away from the beautiful Algarve coastline and the views were breathtaking at any hour of the day and night.
One of the first things that we did upon our arrival was check into our room, but only because we wanted to set our bags somewhere, so we could get back outside for the views and the phenomenal ambiance. We stayed in one of the spectacular suites and it was perfect for our little family. We loved the design and style of our room and I could have taken pictures to post on Instagram all day long!
The living area had comfortable couches for lounging and it was separate from the sleeping area, which was perfect for when the baby was sleeping, and we were almostwide awake. At the end of each day, and sometimes in the early hours of the morning, we took full advantage of extensive range of UK television channels that we could watch, along with the UK socket and USB connections that were conveniently located right in our headboard. It was so nice to be able to charge things as we were using them and relaxing at the same time!
Once we were settled in, we used the complimentary bicycle service to explore the area including the Quinta neighborhood. We rode along pathways as we zipped from one destination to the next, making stops at local stores and a café before returning to the hotel.
During our quieter times, we swam in the outdoor pool, worked out in the gym that seemed to have every piece of equipment available, and used the game room that was filled with table tennis, football, and an Xbox One.
We did venture out beyond the Magnolia Hotel for many of our meals, but we did enjoy a couple at the on-site restaurant too. Their food was delicious, as well as affordable, which made it a wonderful addition to our vacation.
We were quite impressed with the staff during the entire duration of our stay, as they were always right there with an answer if we had a question or advice if we were looking for ideas of what to do for part of the day.
We couldn’t recommend this charming hotel enough, due to its amazing location, friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous rooms and suites, and the large range of things to do nearby.
