Our Spectacular Stay at the Alentejo Marmoris Hotel & Spa

Alentejo Marmoris Hotel & Spa is more elegant and luxurious than we could have ever imagined. There is beautiful Portuguese marble everywhere, which makes this hotel even more exclusive than any of the others in the area.

This hotel can be found within the monumental center of Vila Viçosa and from the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the stunning landscapes, the thrilling experiences, the delectable and flavorful cuisine, and the wonderful traditions.

Our Room at Alentejo Marmoris Hotel & Spa

We stayed in one of their Superior Deluxe rooms, which are on the ground floor, and we had a fabulous view of the swimming pool from our balcony.  The design of our room was very modern, yet contemporary, and we felt very relaxed the entire time we were there.

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner at Alentejo Marmoris Hotel & Spa

We started each one of our mornings with the hotel’s amazing breakfast.  There were so many options available each day, and we were surprised that there was even a plethora of options for our baby too. This is something that we don’t see very often, and it was nice to be able to give her a well-rounded breakfast without searching for something suitable for her to eat.

In fact, the staff was more than accommodating for all our needs.  They loved our daughter and would play with her whenever they had a minute available.  They even made her fresh baby food during any of the meals that we ate at the hotel and we didn’t even need to ask!

During our stay, we chose to take a tour of Alentejo.  We had a tour guide for this little adventure, and as he was taking us around in the hotel’s Tuk Tuk, he kept us entertained.  He was quite knowledgeable too, so we learned quite a bit about the area and everything that we saw alone the way.  He even took family pictures for us at some of the stops, so that we didn’t need to worry about one of us not being in the picture.

The hotel has a fantastic kid’s room, which was full of activities for children of all ages.  We loved spending time in there with our little one, as we played, and yes, tired her out!  At one point, we even had the chance to have a couple’s massage at the on-site spa. It was only thirty minutes long, but it was long enough to get us both relaxed and ready to enjoy the rest of our vacation!
